Single-layer structure based on COP
Our polymer vials unite the best properties of plastic and glass packaging for liquid medications. The vials are available with a single-layer structure based on Cyclic Olefin Polymer (COP). The vials offer inert contact surface and have been proven with various pharma applications in the market. They also deliver a unique packaging safety feature to manufacturers of biologic, toxic or high potency drug solutions. The monolayer COP vials are available in the sizes of 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50ml with critical dimensions like height, body diameter or neck diameter according to ISO 8362. Additionally, one new vial in size 100ml is under development.
Quality assurance
State-of the art production processes.- In-line camera inspection systems to ensure high performance in filling lines and lyophilization processes.
- The production and packaging of Gx RTF serum tubular glass vials are performed under controlled environmental and cGMP conditions.
- Use of G3 vials inspection system to ensure highest quality vials. During this inspection, all areas of the vials and finish, neck, shoulder, body, and hyper-bottom, are inspected. The system is based on a combination of five high-resolution matrices, in-line scan cameras, and a proprietary lighting system.
- The custom software can recognize and classify defects.
